The Richmond Tigers are based just a few hundred yards from the MCG in Melbourne and have used the MCG as their home ground since before the 1970s. The Tigers were Cinderella underdog winners of the AFL Premiership in 2017 but fell short in repeating that effort in 2018. The Tigers bounced back though in 2019 and took home the cup and in the 2020 shorted season, they won it again. They are always a hard team to beat.
